You keep using RentalPoint exactly as you do today. We take care of getting the data out and turning it into reports you can open in a browser.

You start a free trial
Tell us your company details and pick a plan. Nothing to download, nothing to configure. It takes about a minute.

We connect your RentalPoint data
We get in touch within one business day and install a small sync program on the server where RentalPoint already lives. You do not install anything yourself, and we walk your IT person through it if you have one.

Your data appears
The first sync brings across your booking history. From then on it updates every hour, automatically, in the background — so what you are looking at is what your team entered this morning, not last night.

You get on with it
Open a browser — on your desk, at home, or on your phone — and your numbers are there. Invite your team, save the views you use most, export to PDF or Excel when you need to send something on.

How your data is kept safe

This is your commercial information, so it is worth being specific about what happens to it.

→Read-only at the source. The sync program signs in to your RentalPoint database with permission to read, and nothing else. It is not able to change your records even if something went wrong.
→One direction only. Data travels from your server to us over an encrypted connection. Nothing travels back into RentalPoint.
→Separated by company. Your reports are drawn only from your own data, and access is limited to the users you invite.
→Hosted on established infrastructure.Your data sits with well-known providers rather than a machine under someone’s desk, backed up and kept close to you so reports stay quick to load.
→Booking data, not everything. We bring across what the reports need — bookings, invoices, labour and the related lists. Not your whole system.

What do I need for this to work?: A Windows server or PC that runs RentalPoint and stays switched on. That is it. If RentalPoint works today, you almost certainly already have what is needed.
Does it change anything in RentalPoint?: No. The sync only ever reads from your RentalPoint database — it cannot add, edit or delete anything in it. Your RentalPoint system carries on exactly as it does now, and nobody using it will notice a difference.
How often does it update?: Every hour, automatically, in the background. A booking entered this morning shows up in your reports the same morning — you are never waiting until tomorrow to see today’s work.
Will it slow RentalPoint down?: No. The sync reads a modest amount of booking data and is designed to stay out of the way. It runs quietly alongside everything else on the server.
Who can see my data?: Only the people you invite. Every company’s data is kept separate, and your reports are only ever visible to users you have added to your own account.
What if we decide it is not for us?: Stop whenever you like. The trial does not ask for card details, and the sync program can be removed from your server with nothing left behind.
